In short, we use our drone to capture a large number of two-dimensional images over a geographic area and compile them with specialized photogrammetry software into a highly detailed orthomosaic map and a 3D model of your land. Land Command turns that into a map you can use.

Does it work without cell service?
Yes, once you’ve saved it to your phone or tablet while connected. The map, imagery, 3D model and elevation tools keep working with no signal. Anything that needs a connection, such as live weather, says so and shows the last reading it had.

Do I need to install an app?
No. Land Command runs in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your home screen with one scan of a code.

Is a Land Command map a boundary survey?
No. It’s a planning tool built from drone imagery, not a legal boundary survey. But is does overlay the State Parcel Boundaries and rich parcel details. Drone imagery accuracy is georeferenced to within just a few centimeters.

How does A Better Look Aerial compare with other options?
Most regional drone operators specialize in either thermal game recovery or basic property mapping. We offer both, and we add a map you own. Recovery customers receive a meaningful discount on Land Command mapping: 25% off the mapping session or the full

amount of the recovery fee, whichever is less. Cloud mapping platforms typically charge ongoing fees. Land Command doesn’t, and the data stays with you.
